Lustig salutes super sub Roberts

|

Mikael Lustig highlighted the impact of Patrick Roberts as Celtic came from behind to beat St Mirren 4-1 to book a place in the semi final draw for the Scottish Cup.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Harry Davis and stayed in front until almost the hour mark.

A double from Lustig and Scott Sinclair turned the tie around. Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths added further goals with some strange refereeing decisions denying Celtic two further goals.

At half time Brendan Rodgers replaced Gary Mackay-Steven with Roberts before sending Griffiths on for Nir Bitton five minutes before the equaliser.

Lustig and Roberts combined brilliantly down the right with the Swede in no doubt about the impact of the kid on loan from Manchester City.

With 13 minutes left to play Rodgers gave a debut to Kouassi Eboue who has come through three Development League matches since joining the hoops during the January transfer window.
