Mikael Lustig take a bow

The legend of Mikael Lustig took on further credibility of Saturday when he scored the final goal of the 5-1 derby demolition at Ibrox.

Celtic’s Swedish full back usually arrives late in the day from his defensive beat- jumping on belatedly to goal celebrations almost like a photo bomber.

He doesn’t tend to score often but when he does he likes to make the most of them with Saturday’s celebration capturing the mood of an unforgettable day.

A mazy run at the Sevco defence was impressive, his curling 20 yard drive was executed with the precision that any striker would be proud of but his celebration was certainly in a league of it’s own.

Pulling his shirt up over his head, revealing a bizarre mix of tattoos, he raced off in a world of his own as the Celtic support went potty at his strike.

With six league winners medals in his collection the shy young Swede that arrived from Rosenborg in 2012 clearly ‘gets Celtic’.
