Pedro’s delusions

Deflection master Pedro Caixinha has claimed that Derek McInnes wants his job at Ibrox!

Last night the Aberdeen boss reminded Brother Pedro of the massive gulf between their clubs by claiming a 2-1 win at Ibrox despite focussing on the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic.

Caixinha’s third rate mind games have turned him into a laughing stock across the game as he attempts to deflect attention away from his faltering results.

Five wins in 10 matches is consistent with his record in various low profile management jobs but keen to keep up the big club message Caixinha couldn’t resist a further dig despite last night’s failure.

“We don’t misunderstand things here,” he told Sky Sports News. “I know what it represents to be in this chair, despite many others who should like to be here but they aren’t. I know what the job represents and I am here to defend the club and work for the club.

“Our fans know that I am here to defend the club, I am working really hard to give them happiness and we also learn that Derek maybe is not the only one desperate to be in this position which I am occupying at this moment.”

With his line in PR Brother Pedro is providing great happiness to fans of many clubs with Aberdeen supporters enjoying similar delight to the Celtic fans that watched their side put five past Sevco and quieten down the outpourings from the fifth best coach in Qatar.
