Brendan Rodgers has forgiven Leigh Griffiths his show of petulance after being substituted against Partick Thistle.
The striker opened the scoring from the penalty spot in Celtic’s 5-0 win over Thistle- the 100th goal of the SPFL season.
Just past the hour mark Griffiths was replaced by Scott Sinclair and wasn’t slow to show his unhappiness at that decision.

???? BR: “This is a team that is selfless and it’s why I can change it about and the players know I trust them in their work.”

???? BR: “He’s a brilliant boy & all strikers will always be the same. He just needed a wee reminder that is not about him or any individual.”

At the end of the match Griffiths seemed reluctant to listen to Rodgers’ advice as the players took a bow in front of the lively away support.
A peace deal seemed to be worked out as Griffiths took a hug from his boss and saluted the Celtic fans.
The hoops scored two further goals after Griffiths was replaced taking their goal tally for the season to 104 with 103 points collected.
A home win against Hearts on Sunday will mean that the bhoys have become the first Scottish side to complete a season in the top flight unbeaten.
