Gary Mackay-Steven signed off at Celtic with the same smile that joined the club with in February 2015.
The former Dundee United man enjoyed a splash of success at Celtic but when Brendan Rodgers raised the bar he fell just short.
Unusually for a transfer there seems to be no bad blood involved with Celtic fans wishing the 26-year-old the best of luck in his switch to Pittodrie.
Too many people to thank at Celtic from the staff behind the scenes at Lennoxtown and Celtic Park to every single player, coach and manager.

I have loved every minute and especially playing in front of the amazing supporters.

Now it’s time to enjoy a new challenge and I can’t wait to pull on the red shirt and get started with Aberdeen.

Mackay-Steven made a flying start to his Celtic career with a goal in the opening minute of his debut away to Partick Thistle.
It seemed to be going to script as his arrival alongside Stuart Armstrong lifted the team as they clinched their fourth successive title.
Season 2015/16 however was one to forget as like most of his team-mates little went right with Ronny Deila announcing his departure before the season ended.
An injury saw him out of contention when Brendan Rodgers took over while the form of Scott Sinclair, James Forrest and Patrick Roberts closed the door on his hoops prospects.
