Linfield will enjoy three days training facilities at Murray Park to prepare for Wednesday’s clash with Celtic.

David Healy’s squad of plumbers, bus drivers, security guards and civil servants will get to enjoy the state-of-the-art training facilities where Pedro Caixinha honed his tactics for the Europa League defeat from Progres Niederkorn.

For Healy it will be a home from home enjoying the facilities that he shared with Kyle Lafferty, Steven Whittaker, John Fleck, Allan McGregor and Steven Naismith before Ally McCoist let his contract run out and move on to further obscurity before his old team mates walked away.

A Linfield insider told the Daily Record: “It was a great gesture from Rangers which we really appreciated. Our clubs have enjoyed a fantastic relationship for years and this will strengthen that relationship.”

Video Celts has learned that Healy has also been given an audience with Caixinha and exclusive access to his incredible coaching PowerPoints.

When Rangers (IL) were still solvent a fund raising fixture was arranged with Linfield at Windsor Park on May 7. A month later the club was put into liquidation after Her Majesty refused a CVA.

Linfield are staring at a heavy UEFA fine after missiles were thrown at Leigh Griffiths and one fan attempted to get onto the pitch. It seems that UEFA have overlooked the racist abuse of Scott Sinclair and anti-catholic chanting from the home fans.
