It doesn’t take much to excite the people and get them handing over their blue pounds.

The sight of their players checking in at Glasgow Airport in nifty new black tracksuits soon triggered a switch with the Daily Record quickly jumping on board claiming that the new outfit would soon be flying off the shelves.

Unfortunately the truth is somewhat different with one well informed report claiming that relations between the club and Puma are non-existent after the club blanked last season’s strip launches.

According to Phil MacGiollabhain the natty new tracksuits were bought off the shelf with some iron on badges quickly applied!

The report claims that after Sevco pocketed a £700,000 advance from the sportswear giant they haven’t been supplied with a single additional item such as training tops for new players.

With a first team squad that is getting close to 30 players it’ll take a lot of kit to keep them all looking dignified through a season of double and treble sessions.

As he surrendered the club into a 12 month exit contract with Sports Direct and Puma Dave King promised new second and third kits within a few weeks, like most of the promises of the South African based criminal it’s unlikely that new kit will be flying off the shelves at Sports Direct.
