Police Scotland have dropped plans to take any action against Neil Lennon for his antics at Ibrox on Saturday.
Thousands of fans were silenced from singing anti-Irish songs after Simon Murray equalised prompting Lennon to turn to the home fans and cup his ears following what’s known in the west of Scotland as a ‘get it up ye’ sign with his arms.
Following a number of complaints the front pages of the Daily Record and The Sun on Monday led with claims that Lenny faced a ‘cop probe’ into his actions.

Later on Monday there were reports that Police Scotland were investigating threats made to Lennon on social media.
Now, according to a report in The Sun, there will be no questioning or charges brought against Lennon.
It remains to be seen if anyone is charged with anti-Irish singing at Ibrox on Saturday or whether the SFA decide to charge Lennon for his touchline actions.
