Another day of drama, rumours and uncertainty awaits tomorrow as Jim White looks out the yellow tie, arry Redknapp roles down the car window and Sky Sports News goes into overdrive.

Whatever did the broadcaster do before the transfer window was invented?

More often than not the day ends in disappointment as all those hopes fall by the wayside with a low key signing and tales of woe over the ones that got away.

Celtic fans won’t ever forget the final day of the 2010 January transfer window when Robbie Keane was signed on loan from Spurs. While Keane excelled Celtic’s season nosedived with Tony Mowbray replaced by Neil Lennon after one humiliation too many.

Brendan Rodgers has been low key over the last few days but over the past couple of weeks he has dropped hints that he is looking to bring in a striker and a central defender.

To an extent injuries have forced those issues with the difficulties magnified by the soaring rate of inflation in the English game.

With Paris St Germain waiting less than a fortnight away the need to strengthen is obvious, all eyes will be on Celtic Park tomorrow with a high level of expectation that at least one of the problem positions will be strengthened before that damn window slams shut.
