Jackson under attack

The PR battle between Keith Jackson and elements of the current regime at Ibrox has intensified.

Since Kenny Miller fell foul of Pedro Caixhina in the aftermath of the most recent defeat from Celtic the battle lines have been drawn up between the top man at the Daily Record and the Ibrox spin machine.

Jackson recently took aim at a website with close links to the club’s PR operation with all fingers pointing at the Rangers Observer.

That website ran a story about Caixinha’s clear the air meeting following the Celtic defeat but the Record’s take was less complimentary.

Miller then suffered a character assassination from the RO despite his outstanding service to the various Ibrox clubs with Jackson now the subject of their anger.

Apparently his twitter ratio is off the radar in a bad way with a Media Analysis on RO pointing out some worrying trends for the Record man.

With no sign of audited accounts, a new retail deal, an AGM and Dave King facing a jail term there may be more pressing matters than Jackson’s ratio to bother the Rangers Observer but as a deflection tactic it is working a treat.
