Kevin Clancy will take charge of Celtic’s League Cup semi-final clash against Hibs on Saturday with Craig Thomson as the fourth official.

Thomson will then step up to referee Wednesday’s SPFL match away to Aberdeen.

Clancy has only refereed one Celtic match this season, the 4-1 flag day win over Hearts and will be assisted by Douglas Ross and Frank Connor.

Ross is taking a break from his busy schedule as a Tory MP to run the line in the Nou Camp tonight with Barcelona taking on Olympiakos in the Champions League.

Connor is no stranger to Hampden and was on the line at the North Stand when alongwith Steven McLean and Alan Muir when Josh Meekings handled a Leigh Griffiths header in the 2015 Scottish Cup semi-final.

After the dust settles at Hampden Celtic’s thougts will turn towards Aberdeen and a top of the table clash at Pittodrie refereed by Thomson with Alan Mulvanny and Craig Chambers assisting.
