Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Mikael Lustig is carrying a calf injury.
The defender played for Sweden against Luxembourg and Holland but was missing from the Celtic side that beat Dundee 1-0 today.
Lustig missed a couple of days training on international duty with Rodgers now keeping a close eye on the full-back ahead of Wednesday’s clash away to Bayern Munich.
Speaking to Radio Scotland before today’s match the Celtic boss said: “Mikael Lustig has played a lot of games, he’s come back from two international games and felt a bit in his calf so we can’t take any risk there.”
After today’s match Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong took part in a work out under the watch of Celtic’s medical team.
While Celtic were beating Dundee 1-0 Aberdeen kept level on points with the same scoreline away to Hibs where Gary Mackay-Steven scored the only goal of the game.
