Gary Lineker was in awe of Paris Saint Germain last night as the French giants demolished Celtic’s fragile European reputation.
As he watched from the comfort of the BT Sport studio the former England striker joined in the debate that compared how good PSG were with how ineffective the hoops performed.
Mbappe has made it 4-1. PSG have now scored 21 goals, which equals the Champions League group stage record. There’s still a game and a half to play ffs. ????

PSG break the Champions League group stage goal scoring record with a game to spare. 22 goals and counting. Pretty darn impressive.

Bloody Nora, It’s already up to 24. The 7th of the evening a worldy from Alves. Never ever score an early goal against PSG.

PSG’s front line is undoubtedly talented but they won’t come up against a less effective defence in this season’s Champions League.
PSGs passing and movement was reminiscent of Barcelona at their vest best but in attack Unai Emery has a devastating front three whose performances reflect their £400m transfer value.
Neymar, Cavani and Kylian Mbappe carry a goal threat that even the best drilled defences in the business will struggle to contain.
While PSG look forward to the latter stages with confidence Celtic have to regroup and prepare for the Europa League.
A win, draw or even a two goal defeat to Anderlecht will see Rodgers’ side finish third in Group B with all eyes on the January transfer window for defensive reinforcements.
