Graham Dorrans faces a further three months out of action.

According to a report in The Sun the midfield dynamo won’t be back in action until March after undergoing surgery on a persistent ankle injury.

Dorrans hasn’t played since the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock in October and has been dogged by injuries over the last couple of seasons.

At Norwich last season he only managed to play in 22 Championship matches, the season before he started 14 matches as Norwich were relegated from the EPL.

With no money available for January signings the loss of Dorrans is a cruel blow leaving the Sevco midfield heavily dependent on Ryan Jack and Jason Holt.

In a further blow for caretaker boss Graeme Murty former England youth team skipper Jordan Rossiter has had a minor set-back in training and isn’t expected to play before the winter break.

Sevco will find out early next week the extent of Kenny Miller’s hamstring injury.
