Sevco set to lose striker

|

Sevco kid Ryan Hardie is a transfer target for QPR.

According to a report in The Sun the striker could be on his way next month with his contract up in June.

Hardie was one of the top graduates from Murray Park but has struggled to make the transition up from playing youth team football despite loan spells at Raith Rovers and Saint Mirren.

With no sign of a new Ibrox contract being agreed the Scotland u-21 striker can open talks with any club outside of Scotland.

QPR would be able to offer a massive wage rise and a realistic chance of top team football.

Despite the promotion of Graeme Murty to caretaker manager Hardie’s first team chances have been limited with Sevco likely to be happy to accept a development fee for the striker.

After Pedro Caixinha’s summer spending spree it’s unlikely that there will be another net spend at Ibrox during the January transfer window even though Kenny Miller, Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter are out with long term injuries.
