Celtic’s defensive plans have suffered a big blow with Marvin Compper ruled out of action for upto a month.
Brendan Rodgers delivered the news with his central defensive options looking jinxed.
Compper was signed partly out of frustration with the injury issues that have dogged the hoops this season with Dedryck Boyata picking up a knee injury in pre-season training that kept him out until mid-September.

Erik Sviatchenko was next to suffer and barely lasted 15 minutes of the Champions League qualifier away to Rosenborg.
Jozo Simunovic reported for international duty with a hamstring tear in October forcing Rodgers to use Mikael Lustig and Nir Bitton as central defenders in the Champions League.
With Sviatchenko joining Midtjylland on loan Kris Ajer, Jozo Simunovic and Dedryck Boyata are the only fit central defenders currently available to the Celtic boss.
Reports from Turkey have suggested that Celtic have had a bid of €3m for Dusko Tosic rejected for Besiktas.
