Lewis Morgan is expected to complete his move to Celtic tomorrow after undergoing a medical.
According to a report in The Sun the Saint Mirren winger will complete his £300,000 deal and become Brendan Rodgers’ second January signing joining Marvin Compper.
Despite the injures to Jonny Hayes and Patrick Roberts it seems that Morgan will be loaned back to Saint Mirren until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has been the outstanding talent in the Championship this season, helping Saint Mirren into top spot ahead of Dundee United.
Yesterday he scored the opening goal of the game in the 1-1 draw away to Morton to follow on from his double in the 2-0 win over Dundee United on Friday night.
After being released by Sevco as a 16-year-old Morgan moved to Saint Mirren where he has made over 100 appearances and broke into the Scotland u-21 side.
As part of the deal Mark Hill could be on his way to the Paisley side.
