Celtic fans weren’t slow to help Jim White in his debate about sporting integrity!
It seems that some elements of the sporting world has stopped spinning after some southern hemisphere cricketers were caught tampering with a ball.
Rolling news channels have latched onto the scandal with politicians in Australia quick to condemn their home grown cheats.
Opening the debate out a little further White asked his TalkSPORT audience if they had lost faith in their sports.
Scottish football fans were quick to remind White about a decade plus of once club fielding ineligible players without punishment.
Cheating is fine Jim. As long as it’s the right sort of cheating. https://t.co/ONacIzJ2G3

Jim White, who was at Charles Greens bedside…wonders if we can trust sporting integrity. I’m out. There’s no hope anymore.

As a Scottish Football fan I can only admire the simplicity of your question. I cannot trust my sport but neither can I trust the likes of yourselves to properly report on it.

Jim u have a platform with your job to bring all things that are bad in sport like yesterday’s news of cheating in cricket condemned by all including sky. Yet ignore blatant and industrial scale cheating supreme court judgment simple question why. pic.twitter.com/bWd8ZkPevg

Mr black was David Murray. bring facts to the debate not some mickey mouse LNS inquiry that did not have all facts before him. Even Alex McLeish admitted to attracting players they otherwise couldn’t afford facts. pic.twitter.com/iS4j7xuWeA

As well as helping them to win trophies, as manager Alex McLeish confirmed, the success of Rangers (IL) denied other clubs trophies, prize money and European participation.
In September 2017 Stewart Regan referred the issue of the 2011 UEFA licence granted to Rangers (IL) to the Compliance Officer, seven months on there has been no comment or update on the matter.
