Craig Thomson will referee Sunday’s match between Motherwell and Celtic.
The FIFA official was heavily criticised by the Lanarkshire side for his performance in the final of the Betfred Cup which saw Cedric Kipre red carded for the penalty incident that led to Celtic’s second goal.
Since that match Thomson has refereed Celtic’s home wins over Aberdeen and Hearts and Motherwell’s Scottish Cup win over Hamilton Accies.
With Celtic nine points clear at the top of the Premiership the hoops need a maximum of five more wins to clinch their seventh successive title.
Once the weekend fixtures are completed the SPFL will have a better idea of the post split fixtures, Motherwell currently trail Hearts by four points with a game less played.
Following his dreadful display in the Glasgow derby Willie Collum will be in charge of Saturday’s match between Aberdeen and Dundee with Don Robertson in the middle for Sevco’s clash with Kilmarnock.
