Sevco’s decision to suspend Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace is going to be an expensive one for the club.

Frustrations at constantly getting beaten by Celtic reached a high on Sunday at Hampden with the decision to effectively end the Ibrox career of the veteran striker opening the door to a stream of stories from behind the blue door of dignity.

This morning The Sun has managed to find out that the meeting between the players, chief executive Stewart Robertson only lasted two minutes.

According to the newspaper both players were stunned by the accusations with Miller denying any involvement claiming that Graeme Murty ‘left the changing room before any dust up’.

No specific allegations were put to the players at the 9am meeting , tellingly neither player has been fined.

Miller is out of contract at the end of the season and won’t play again while club captain Waldo hasn’t played since September due to a sore leg.

Under fire Murty can now expect lots more stories from behind closed doors to reach the public.
