Chris Sutton believes that there are rats inside the Sevco dressing room.

Graeme Murty has endured the most difficult week of his coaching journey with all hell breaking lose after the 4-0 defeat from Celtic in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

Humiliation at Hampden was bad enough but the fall out has been catastrophic with the caretaker manager in the centre of the storm.

Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller have been suspended, Greg Docherty and Alfredo Morelos squared upto each other while Andy Halliday and Danny Candeias showed their contempt for their manager when they were substituted during the defeat.

News has leaked out about what happened after the final whistle with Sutton warning Murty that he has a near impossible task trying to salvage something from the remainder of the season.

There are rats in that dressing room,” the former Celtic striker told BT Sport. “For Halliday to behave in the way he did – run around, make a tackle, change something on the pitch. Don’t look around and blame the manager.

Candeias is up the tunnel and you’ve got Wallace and Gromit. It is a rudderless ship and the players are trying to make Murty walk the plank.”

Sevco face Hearts at Ibrox tomorrow looking to avoid their eighth home defeat of the season and trailing Aberdeen by three points in the battle for second place.
