CELTIC will definitely be seeded in all four Champions League qualifying rounds next season- should they progress.
With Liverpool confirming a top four place and automatic group entry in next season’s group phase the hoops can look forward to being seeded through each qualifying round.
UEFA set aside one group place for the winners of the Champions League, with Liverpool and Real Madrid both qualifying through their domestic league the group place reserved for this season’s winner goes to the next available league winner with the champions of the Czech Republic getting that slot.
And it’s official. Celtic will be seeded for all CL qualifying rounds of next season’s tournament, should we progress to each.
But if we do make the group stages we’re almost certain to be in Pot 4 again. It’d now take an incredible sequence of results for us to make Pot 3.

Being seeded going into the final qualifying round would mean that Celtic would avoid being drawn against FC Salzburg, Ludogorets and PSV Eindhoven with Young Boys Bern and APOEL Nicosia the likely calibre of opponents.
The draw for the first qualifying round will take place on June 12 with the first matches taking place a month later.
From July 10/11 there will be eight consecutive weeks of qualifying ties as the hoops look to emulate the success of the last two seasons which has brought in close to £60m in direct benefits from qualifying to the group phase.
