Callum McGregor has delivered a brilliant put down on social media.
More than a few of his Celtic team-mates feel the need to share much of their private life’s across Twitter and Instagram.
During the close season it wasn’t too difficult to find pictures and videos of players on the beach, on the golf course or eyeing up impressive plates of food.
Discussing social media with the Daily Record McGregor said:
“But I still don’t feel the need to be posting stuff on social media about what I’m doing, where I am, or ‘Look, this is my dinner!’ I just don’t bother with it. It’s not something I’m into.
McGregor was transformed from unsung hero into fans favourite over the last 12 months displaying a priceless knack of being able to change position and find the back of the net from any distance within 25 yards of goal.
Among last season’s highlights the midfielder netted in the semi and final of the Scottish Cup as well as memorable goals against Bayern Munich and Zenit St Petersburg.
Those highlights were celebrated in style on social media but it’ll be a while before fans get a peek at Cal Mac’s weetabix!
