As the world comes to terms with the astonishing pace of Kylian Mbappe Chris Sutton is suffering from Deja Vu.
Eighteen years ago, shortly after he had signed for Celtic, the former Chelsea striker was joined by a £50,000 signing from Hibs- Didier Agathe.
Didier Agathe would beat Mbappe over 50 yards….

Over five seasons under Martin O’Neill Agathe set up numerous goals for Sutton and Henrik Larsson with defenders unable to cope with his electric pace down the right flank.
Pound for pound Agathe was probably Martin O’Neill’s best signing although his career went downhill fast after Gordon Strachan took over as Celtic boss.
A spell under O’Neill at Aston Villa failed to work out before he returned to the Reunion Isles where he set up a football academy and became an agent.
Mbappe came to prominence during the 16/17 season when he helped Monaco reach the semi-final of the Champions League.
That earned him a controversial loan move to Paris Saint Germain where he was valued at £166m ahead of becoming the first teenager since Pele to score in the World Cup Finals.
