Odsonne Edouard was the hero of Celtc’s 3-1 win over Rosenborg with the young Frenchman paying tribute to a Celtic icon with the hoops critical third goal.
Taking a pass from James Forrest in his stride Edouard waited for the keeper to commit himself before calmly dinking the ball into the net.

After going a goal behind there was a brief panic among the hoops fans but it was Edouard who equalised shortly before half-time.
A minute into the second half Olivier Ntcham curled into a spectacular 25 yard effort as Celtic piled on the pressure.
The Norwegian goal lived a charmed life with the woodwork struck three times before Ntcham put Celtic in command of the tie.
After winning 1-0 away to Rosenborg last year the hoops will be looking for a repeat of that result to book a third round tie against AEK Athens.
