Kieran Tierney will miss Celtic’s friendly against Standard Liege.
The defender has been linked with a move to Everton during the transfer window but will take a back seat for tomorrow’s match.
Tierney is Celtic’s only recognised left-back. Calvin Miller, who will start against the Belgian side, has only made five top team appearances.
With a 3-0 lead from the first leg tie against Alashkert securing Celtic’s place in the second round Brendan Rodgers will use the matches against Standard Liege and the Armenian champions to push the match fitness of his squad.
Celtic have no match scheduled next weekend giving Rodgers a week to prepare for the match against Rosenborg or Valur with the Icelandic side holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg.
Marvin Compper is expected to play at some stage against Standard Liege but Leigh Griffiths will miss out with the injured striker joining Jonny Hayes and Nir Bitton on the sidelines.
