Every club in Scotland has been given the green light to appeal red cards after the SFA downgraded Alfredo Morelos’ sending off at Aberdeen to a caution.
Eleven minutes into the match the Sevco striker was seen to aim a kick at Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.
The incident was picked up on by the assistant referee who alerted Kevin Clancy who immediately issued a red card.
Scottish football? Never changes. Never progresses. A fetid corrupt swamp. The rules are clear and this was violent conduct.
The only upside to overturning the Morelos red card is that Morelos is available to play against St. Mirren. The Paisley club must be delighted. pic.twitter.com/rzsip4csVp

Sevco appealed against that decision with the SFA announcing today that the referee and his assistant had got the decision wrong.
After the match Steven Gerrard claimed that the world was against the tribute act and that they had been on the wrong end of decisions for years.
Despite questioning the integrity of match officials the SFA have decided not to discipline Gerrard for his comments.
Don Robertson will referee Sevco’s match against St Mirren on Sunday, Clancy will be in charge of Partick Thistle against Falkirk.
