Craig Levein has laughed off Steven MacLean’s brutality attack on Ebioue Kouassi.
Midway through the first half of their 3-0 defeat from Celtic on Sunday the Hearts striker decided to grab ‘the crown jewels’ of his opponent.
Willie Collum decided to speak to both players but took no further action having already yellow carded MacLean in the second minute of the match.

Perhaps in certain social circles that sort of ‘high jinks’ is indulged but if MacLean gets hit with a two match suspension his manager may be less likely to see the funny side.
MacLean was the Hearts captain on Sunday after Steven Naismith got injured but was unable to have any influence on the match.
With wee Naisy looking at a six to eight week absence due to a sore knee a suspension for MacLean would devastate Levein’s attacking options for the matches against Hibs and Celtic.
