Javier Estrada will referee the Celtic v RB Leipzig Europa League tie on Thursday night.
The Spanish referee has been taking charge of Europa League ties since 2014 but has yet to referee a Champions League group match.
Estrada refereed Arsenal’s Europa League tie against Cologne last season which was delayed by over an hour as over 20,000 German fans invaded the stadium despite an allocation of just 3,000 tickets.
Celtic will have James Forrest available after suspension with Tom Rogic and Filip Benkovic adding strength to the side that lost 2-0 to Leipzig a fortnight ago.
Reversing or bettering that result would be ideal with any sort of win required to keep Celtic’s qualification hopes alive.
Rosenborg and RB Leipzig both have 100% records after three matches meaning that Celtic and Leipzig are effectively going head to head for the other place in the last 32 of the Europa League.
