There wasn’t many moments of silky soccer at Hampden today but Filip Benkovic provided a rare moment of magic.
For reasons best known to himself the centre half found himself down the left flank with 12 minutes left to play.
Sticking the ball out of play or passing to a team-mate would have been the easy option but the on-loan defender tried something a bit different!

At the other end of the park the young Croatian put in a near flawless performance as Celtic lifted the first trophy of the season.
A first half goal from Ryan Christie was enough to settle the match as the hoops pit down the first instalent towards a Treble Treble.
Benkovic barely gave the Dons forwards a look in, playing alongside Dedryck Boyata for an hour then finishing the match partnered by Jozo Simunovic.
