Borussia Dortmund ave admitted that they are discussing deadline day departures.

Jeremy Toljan has been strongly linked with a loan move to Celtic with club officials believed to be in Germany to complete negotiations.

Bringing in a new right-back has been a transfer priority since the summer transfer window although, ironically, Mikael Lustig has been in sparkling form in Celtic’s last couple of matches.

Yesterday it was claimed that Atalanta had turned down a bid for Timothy Castagne with Toljan now appearing to be the most likely solution to Celtic’s problems at right back.

Asked about departures at a media conference this morning Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc told Bulinews: “I can rule out that anything will happen in terms of arrivals. Otherwise, we’re still in talks.”

After taking training this morning Brendan Rodgers has turned his full attention to transfer business, on TalkSport this morning he admitted to discussing deals on the phone before 9am.

Lewis Morgan has complete his loan move to Sunderland with the big decision being whether to allow Jack Hendry to go out on loan or to hold on to him as cover for the injured duo of Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkovic.
