Amid the drama of four days that could never have been scripted Celtic have discovered another first team ready talent.

Dubbed ‘wee Hendo’ by Kieran Tierney after the 4-1 win over Motherwell Ewan put in another impressive hour of action against Hearts at Tynecastle- one of the toughest tests that a Celtic player will face domestically.

Critically he created the opening goal for Celtic, an unrushed pass to Scott Sinclair saw the ball hit the back of the Hearts net 14 seconds after Henderson had delivered his pass.

The hurly burly of the game will have toughened up the 18-year-old but with a touch and shot at goal just before he was substituted Henderson showed that he has the confidence to match his ability.

When Celtic clinched the 2014 title under Neil Lennon, Liam Henderson was on the score-sheet at Firhill.

History could be repeating itself this term with Liam looking on with pride as his younger brother looks to add to the family medal collection.
