As he joined up with some team-mates for a trip to Cheltenham Kieran Tierney found himself in a transfer tug-o-war!
The defender has just came through four matches and a change of manager after more than two months out of action through injury.
According to The Sun Tierney is a transfer target of Borussia Dortmund who seem to be leaking a lot of transfer business in Scotland following last week’s interest in Alfredo Morelos.
More predictably Leicester are also keen on the Celtic defender, according to The Express, but unlike their recently appointed manager Tierney will be hoping for something a little more ambitious and exciting if he decides to leave the club he has virtually spent his life with.
Tierney is under contract until 2023 but most supporters will be surprised if he sees it through although there is a possibility that he will buck the trend.
Should he decide to leave Celtic it won’t be by an overnight flit, he will make the most of a final appearance at Celtic Park and move on with the best wishes of almost all supporters delighted to have enjoyed exceptional service from one of our own.
