Football impressionist Darren Farley has been handed a whole host of new material by Brendan Rodgers’ move to Leicester City.
The Irishman was never difficult to send up with his over the top sincerity and a unique blend of humility and ego.
Last summer the story was lit up by the arrival of Steven Gerrard on the Glasgow football scene but the dramatic events of this week have provided lots of fresh material. Crucially for Farley Kolo Toure has been part of the back-room team that have followed the Pied Piper to the King Power Stadium.
Brendan Rodgers faces some tough questions from the gathered press about his “dream job” at Leicester.

The real Brendan Rodgers will step in front of the cameras today for the first time as Leicester manager with thousands set to tune in to see if there has been any variations to his scripts.
In his only interview to date the former Celtic boss promised the Leicester City website that he would give his life to the club- perhaps he will confirm or deny whether there is a get out clause in his new contract.
The serious action gets underway on Sunday when Leicester travel to face Watford- the club that gave Rodgers his first job in management before he resigned to try his luck at Reading.
