According to the Daily Mail Celtic are holding out for £14m for Olivier Ntcham.

The midfielder had an indifferent second season at Celtic and is currently involved in the u-21 European Championships in Italy.

Celtic paid Manchester City £4.5m for Ntcham two years ago with a new contract signed in November keeping him at the club until 2022.

That now seems highly unlikely with the Daily Mail reporting:

But Celtic are willing to sell Olivier Ntcham to Marseille, with the £14m asking price the obstacle to a deal.

The £3m signing of Motherwell’s David Turnbull should be completed after a medical in Manchester over the weekend but Lennon is keen to add six new players before the season begins.

Turnbull would be a different midfield option with more of an emphasis on attacking and getting among the goals.

On Friday morning Neil Lennon was happy to discuss the attributes that Turnbull would bring to Celtic but three days later the club flew out to Austria without the 19-year-old.

Celtic play their first match of the new season on Wednesday against Pinkafeld with Lennon on record as hoping to have new signings join up during the 10 day trip to Austria and Switzerland.

July 4 is the signing deadline for the first round Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo although two players can be added by 11pm on July 7 with the first leg being played on July 9.
