Celtic are believed to have made an approach for James Léa Siliki.
According to a report on Get French Football radio station RMC have linked the hoops with the Rennes midfielder.
RMC report that Rennes have received an approach from Scottish champions Celtic for 23-year-old midfielder James Léa Siliki. After rejecting a bid worth €8m from FC Porto for the player, Léa Siliki remains someone who is wanted on the market. Celtic have made an initial approach, perhaps as they prepare for the departure of Olivier Ntcham? One to watch.
Celtic have also been linked with two midfielders from Ecuador and Romaine Sawyers of Brentford over the last week.
Midfield would appear to be an area that Celtic are well covered in with Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie filling those positions in last night’s 3-1 win away to FK Sarajevo.
