New bhoy Shved shares ‘dream debut’ with fans on Insta

Marian Shved was delighted by his debut goal for Celtic and is looking forward to a repeat away to Cluj next week.

The Ukranian winger signed for Celtic in January but was sent back to Karpaty Lviv on loan as the hoops changed manager and won a third successive treble.

Injury delayed his competitive debut but after replacing Nir Bitton in the 70th minute he marked his competitive debut with a stoppage time goal against Nomme Kalju to give Celtic a 2-0 win on the night to complete a 7-0 aggregate.

With James Forrest left at home to rest up Neil Lennon was able to give Shved, Mikey Johnston, Lewis Morgan and Scott Sinclair game time on the wing.

Neil Lennon is spoiled for choice in attacking areas as he prepares to open the defence of the SPFL title followed by a trip to Romania to face Cluj in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

The Romanian’s drew 2-2 tonight away to Macabbi Tel Aviv to go through on a 3-2 aggregate.
