Neil Lennon is expecting a busy August as Celtic complete their summer transfer business.

So far there has been no major departures with Christopher Jullien, Luca Connell, Boli Bolingoli and Hatem Abd Elhamed brought in for around £12m.

Celtic are now halfway towards the group phase of the Champions League but face a big step up in class next week when they face Cluj of Romania following the 7-0 aggregate win over Estonian side Nomme Kalju

Asked if there was much more transfer business to be done in August Lennon told Radio Scotland:

I hope so, there are two or three positions that we are looking to strengthen, and I’d imagine that there might be some toing and froing with players coming in and going out. That’s always the case with the transfer window but at the minute we’re stable, it’s nice and calm. We’ll look forward to the weekend now.

Jullien made his competitive debut in tonight’s 2-0 win in Estonia with Connell and Elhamed still to feature in the Champions League qualifiers.

Callum McGregor and James Forrest were left behind in Glasgow from tonight’s match with Kris Ajer and Odsonne Edouard spending the 90 minutes on the bench. A first half own goal from Aleksandr Kulinits and a late strike from Marian Shved gave Celtic a 7-0 win over the Estonian champions.
