Footage has emerged of a home fan at Ibrox throwing a missile in the direction of Celtic players.
Replaying the match one eagle-eyed fan noticed someone with fair hair and an orange top on throwing a coin during the second half of the game.
Shouldn’t be hard to find this wee idiot throwing coins eh? pic.twitter.com/wWxiMuOrbo

Fortunately no one was struck by the missile but with almost all of the home fans season-ticket holders it shouldn’t be too difficult for the club to identify and discipline the supporter.
Missile throwing has become an increasing problem in Scottish football, last season during a trip to Livingston an Ibrox fan threw a coin that struck an assistant referee on the head causing a cut.
The Scottish football authorities appear to leave all matters of security in the hands of the home club, as long as they comply with a check-list no action is taken.
Neither the home club, the SPFL or SFA have made any comment on yesterday’s match which Celtic won 2-0.
