Christopher Jullien got involved in some friendly banter with Celtic fans after his failure to score against St Mirren.
A week ago, the Frenchman was the hero of the hour with the winning goal against Lazio but last night his luck wasn’t in with three decent scoring chances.
Jullien teased supporters in the build up to his transfer with some not so cryptic messages on Instagram and has quickly become the most engaging Celt on social media.
While he was disappointed not to add to his goal tally, one so far for the season, he did help towards the third consecutive clean sheet since the surprise defeat away to Livingston.
Ten days after that match Jullien took to twitter to say sorry, his subsequent performances suggest that lessons have been learned since that bruising encounter.
‘Big Chris’ as he dubbed himself on Instagram last week has certainly got to grips with the west of Scotland lingo. With his use of hashtags, the defender is demonstrating the benefits of social media away from the traditional script of praising the fans (12th man) and we go again (following any defeat). Etc etc.
Good win last night! Guess the nets aren’t always friendly with me ?? Let’s keep moving forward Celts ???#Welldone #hoopsupsideyourhead #stilldontknowwhathappenedonthe1rstheader pic.twitter.com/FuEJIDBVzO
