Leigh Griffiths certainly hasn’t lost his instinct around goal as his double against Stenhousemuir last night illustrated.
The striker was making his first appearance at any level since the end of August when he featured for 15 minutes in the 3-1 win over Hearts.
Almost three months later he was back among the goals and while allowances have to be taken for the standard of opposition there was no doubting Griffiths’ finishing ability as he scored twice in the first 15 minutes.
???? 2 goals from a returning @Leighgriff09 as Celtic Reserves beat League 2 side Stenhousemuir 6-0 at Lennoxtown.

The big test now for Griffiths is how he reacts to last night’s match with the target being to be involved at some stage against Livingston on Saturday.
Getting a time served striker back into his squad would be a timely boost for Neil Lennon who has been dependent on Odsonne Edouard so far this season.
Having Griffiths on call for the 11 matches remaining this year would be very welcome with Griffiths scoring three times in the early stages of the season.
