Leigh Griffiths is back in the Celtic squad to face Livingston tomorrow, his first top team involvement since September 14.

The striker scored twice in a reserve team friendly against Stenhousemuir with Neil Lennon watching the match at Lennoxtown on Tuesday night.

Odsonne Edouard has virtually been a one man strike force since the start of September but now looks to have reinforcements joining him in the team.

Griffiths missed the second half of last season to deal with non-footballing issues, returning to Lennoxtown at the end of March but not featuring in any games.

After scoring in the opening pre-season friendly away to Pinkafeld he started the season with three goals against Nomme Kalju, St Johnstone and Motherwell.

His last appearance was as a substitute for the last 15 minutes of the 3-1 win over Hearts at the end of August. The striker was an unused substitute in the wins at Ibrox and Hamilton but hasn’t been in a match-day squad since then.
