The real Steven Gerrard emerged at Easter Road last night as the Liverpool legend was involved in a touchline brawl featuring his backroom staff and those of Hibs.
Despite leading 3-0 with half an hour still to be played a red card for Ryan Porteous saw it all kick off between both coaching teams with Gerrard caught on camera in the midst of it.
Amateur lip-readers have even suggested that he was shouting ‘F*** Off’ at members of the Hibs coaching staff.
Although Nick Walsh took action during the match would be interesting to see if the Compliance Officer issues any further Notice of Complaints to both clubs for breach of Disciplinary Rule 204 of JPP as clearly multiple occupants of both technical involved in misconduct. pic.twitter.com/yDqrGynoXw

Ibrox coach Tom Culshaw was red carded and sent to the stand alongside Hibs assistant John Potter but referee Nick Walsh decided not to take action against Gerrard.
After the match, knowing that his actions had been broadcast across television, Gerrard was keen to play down the incidents.

The SFA like to enjoy long holidays over the festive period and aren’t expected to take any action against either club. Had Neil Lennon been involved however.
