Show Racism The Red Card has endorsed the claim, without any evidence, that Alfredo Morelos was subjected to racist abuse during Sunday’s Glasgow derby.
The Colombian was red carded in stoppage time and drew his fingers across his throat as he left the pitch where he was rushed down the tunnel by an Ibrox official.
After the match Steven Gerrard made no reference to any racial element but 24 hours after the match the Fake News began to emerge, initially through the usual suspects followed by a statement from Ibrox.
Celtic’s weak denial was criticised by home fans who heard The Billy Boys, banned by UEFA in 2006, sung before the match kicked off, with the claims from Ibrox featuring heavily on news bulletins on Sky Sports, Sky News and the various BBC outlets.
Now the claim is being endorsed by a leading anti-racism group in ENGLAND.

@SRTRC_England There is absolutely no evidence of this even days after the match. However there is footage & audio of evidence of sectarianism by @RangersFC supporters.
Please be aware your organisations name is being used by RFC PR companies to spread disinformation.— Bobby Bolingoli (@bobby_lennox67) January 1, 2020
Racism is a serious issue. I would expect an organisation like you to deal in fact, not claim and supposition. If it happened the culprits should be dealt with, but so far there has been no evidence published. Surely you should be finding the evidence and not echoing a headline.

Put the footage up so the perpetrators of this racist abuse can be identified…also, report same to the police.Easy enough to do considering loads heard it,right?

Be careful what you attach yourself too, there was no racism here. It’s been claimed by many but proven by none. Sharing this adds absolutely no credence to your cause given there is absolutely no substance to the claims. This club is caustic & you’d be best served steering clear

I hope Celtic take you lot to the cleaners for this, you are basin this on pure head line, there is not a video or shred of evidence this man was racially abused. However, he made gestures towards fans, including kids. This is nothing but a diversion.

This is a seriously desturbing post.
Where is the evidence & proof that this has happened?Surly an organisation like yourselves would not just rely on hearsay from a club who have a poor record on racism???

A fake claim by a very dubious organisation. You damage yourselves with this one-sided nonsense – so acquaint yourselves with the real story or stay out the debate. It really is that simple.

Twice this season parts of Ibrox has been closed down by UEFA due to racist chanting, no Scottish football body has ever taken action against racism during matches at Ibrox.
