Celtic have joined the race to sign Christian Atsu.
The Newcastle winger is available to go out on loan with a couple of Championship clubs believed to be interested in taking him until the end of the season.
Neil Lennon has been sending out confusing messages during the transfer but has previously said that he would like to bring in a time-served winger in the same mould as Moi Elyounoussi.

Atsu has started six EPL matches this season and also made 12 appearances as a substitute. Newcastle signed the Ghanaian in 2014 but since then he has been out on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, Bournemouth and Malaga.
English clubs have until 11pm to complete any business with Celtic having an extra hour to register any signings.
Despite strong speculation this morning it looks unlikely that Victor Wanyama or Filip Benkovic will be rejoining Celtic today.
