Grant Savoury is in talks over a loan move to Edinburgh City.
The 19-year-old came through the ranks at Celtic as a winger but was freed at the end of last season. Neil Lennon decided to take a look at Savoury as a right-back and offered him a new deal and a place on the first team’s pre-season trip to Austria.
Edinburgh City are sitting in second place in League Two, five points behind Cove Rangers and 12 clear of third placed Cowdenbeath.

Savoury has had limited match time this season but played against Huddersfield this week as a right-back following Lee O’Connor’s loan deal to Partick Thistle.
Jonathan Afolabi (Dunfermline) and Conor Hazard (Dundee) also left Celtic on loan last week with Luca Connell believed to be in talks with Sunderland and Barnsley over a move.
Celtic’s reserve side are competing in the round-robin Glasgow Cup and the Reserve Cup but there is no formal league fixtures for Tommy McIntyre’s squad.
