Michael Stewart delivered a devastating attack on James Traynor on Radio Scotland’s Sportsound programme tonight.
Host Kenny MacIntyre was joined by SFA PR man Darryl Broadfoot in the studio but it was the former Hearts and Hibs midfielder that lit up the show.
MacIntyre was keen to concentrate on Alfredo Morelos’ interview with Sky Sports and push the issue of alleged racism that the striker has suffered from. Despite extensive media coverage of the December Glasgow derby from BBC Scotland and Sky Sports no evidence of racism has come to light.
Bravo @Michaelstewart calling out fat Jabba on @BBCSportsound McIntyre and Broadfoot giving themselves a showing up ???

Michael Stewart has just heartened my soul that the BBC HAS to allow other opinion…. Despite heavy pressure from the host ANd the SFA media officer, he stuck to his guns and not only NAMED, but CALLED OUT, Jim Traynor for pandering to the lowest common denominator! ????

Stewart looked at the bigger picture and questioned the reasoning behind the stage-managed Morelos interview, linking it with last week’s story that someone had been tampering with the brakes of his Lamborghini.
James Trayor was mentioned repeatedly by Stewart with MacIntyre jumping in to defend the former Radio Scotland host who now manages PR at Ibrox.
Social media came alive during the show which should be available as a podcast later on tonight.
Mikey Stewart not backing down either good listening

McIntyre was raging at John Hartson the other week for criticising Morelos. Another ibrox cheerleader

Michael Stewart telling the truth on the Traynor on Radio Scotland and the sevconian lickspittle presenter pathetically insisting: “These are not our views.”
Well done @mstewart_23. Shame on you BBC.— Puno Cerrado (@CerradoPuno) February 3, 2020
If anyone missed Michael Stewart talking about Traynor on Sportsound tonight you need to make sure to listen to the podcast later.

Michael Stewart has the one quality that is missing from just about every pundit in Scotland, integrity.
