Chris Sutton has wasted no time putting Michael Beale in his place following an interview for a Chelsea website.
While those interviewed maybe take it as gospel that Brandon Barker is on the same career path as Virgil van Dijk the BT Sport pundit saw straight through the spin.
As some sort of badge of honour Beale claimed that his side’s League Cup Final defeat in December was the most one sided losing final ever.
The last two seasons have been one of the most one sided ‘maybe in history’… https://t.co/uKNYT2IJf0

During the summer Steven Gerrard revealed that last season his side were actually the 87th minute champions with the information delivered with a straight face.
Beale was a key appointment in the Gerrard management team and is widely regarded as the brains of the operation with Gary McAllister in place to add to the big time feeling that has proved so elusive.
Last season Beale watched Celtic win a treble with his own side’s cup hopes ended by Derek McInnes.
Since Beale’s specialised coaching programme in Dubai he has watched his side lost twice to Hearts and against Kilmarnock and Hamilton. The Ibrox side have also dropped points to Aberdeen and St Johnstone with Celtic extending their lead at the top of the Premiership from two points to 13 in the 10 matches played in 2020.
