Celtic have signed Dylan Corr on a professional contract.

The keeper plays for Celtic’s u-17 side and will go professional whenever next season gets underway.

The Corr family can already boast a Celtic player with dad Barry-John making one memorable first team appearance as a substitute at Tynecastle when Jo Venglos was in charge.

In a lively tussle in April 1999 Jonathan Gould picked up an injury in the 42nd minute with BJ thrown on for his top team debut with Celtic leading 3-1. The new bhoy looked unfazed by the occasion, barely making a mistake with Celtic going on to win 4-2.

Corr spent part of the 1999/2000 season on loan at Queens Park before moving on to enjoy spells with Motherwell, Stranraer, Queen of the South and Ayr.

Liam Hughes and Ryan Mullen have shared goalkeeping duties for the Celtic reserve side this season with Ross Doohan and Conor Hazard being out on loan at Championship sides Ayr United and Dundee.
