Chris McLaughlin has revealed that the SPFL has postponed announcing that the 2019/20 Premiership season is over with Celtic as champions.
This morning there was speculation that a decision would be announced today but soon after 4pm The Sun claimed that there were no plans for a conference call between top flight clubs.
SPFL meeting finished. League season won’t be called this evening. More likely next week.

As the day progressed a number of decisions elsewhere helped take the spotlight away from the SPFL Premiership.
Club Brugge were confirmed as the Belgian champions despite the Belgian Pro League still having 11 matches left to play.
In England it seems that the EFL is ready to call League Two over with the only decision to be made is whether final places or average points per game is used to decide league placings..
The SPFL board has already awarded the three lower divisions based on average points per game with that formula giving Celtic the Premiership title with a score of 2.67 per match.
